Charles Theadore Lawin born in Ogden, Utah on August 27, 1962 to Nancy and Jerry Lawin. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Leah Lawin and his two children Taylor Lawin and Amanda Hamblin (Husband Derrick Hamblin) as well as his two grandchildren Jaya and Aliya Hamblin.
Charles was passionate about many things including sky diving where he logged at least 506 solo jumps. He also enjoyed hunting with his best friend David Speth. He was an excellent wood craftsman and spent most of his spare time building things such as custom made wood clocks, a doll house for his daughter and beds for both his kids. He also loved going to bear lake on the families house boat every weekend for 10+ summers where he would love going on midnight boat rides, "neked" swimming, jamming out to music or watching movies at the "boat drive in". More than anything Charles loved taking care of his homestead. He finished the basement with his own two hands, he constructed a family Gazebo in the back yard, his yard was the envy of all the neighbors and his house was always the best and brightest for Christmas. Charles was also an amazing worker and employee and anyone who had the pleasure of working with him truly respected him.
Family was always Charles' top priority. He was always supportive in anything his wife and kids wanted or needed. He deeply impacted the life of his family more then he could ever know and he continued that love and support to his grandchildren.
Charles lived his life unapologetically exactly the way he wanted to. Anyone who truly knew Charles absolutely admired him. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
