DelWayne "Del" England

DelWayne England "Del" passed on October 17, 2022. He was born February 2, 1933 to Sam and Della England in Logan, Utah. He grew up doing odd jobs and said he always had a little change in his pocket. He loved spending time at a cattle ranch in Tuscarora, Nevada. He was a swimmer in high school and set many records. He enjoyed auto mechanics and worked for a few years with the railroad.  Directly out of high school he served 4 years in the NAVY during the Korean conflict. Upon return from the NAVY he married Elsie Michaelis in 1956 and they had two children, Laura and Jeff.  He earned an electrical engineering degree from USU and went to work at HAFB. Del and Elsie were married for 26 years. He spent his entire professional working career at HAFB.

Del enjoyed bowling, golfing, airplanes, watching movies and football. He enjoyed being anywhere in nature and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and dear friends.  He was a kind hearted man and a loving husband and father.

He married Myrl Elbrader and a few years later they retired and moved to Afton, Wyoming in 1988. They enjoyed life in Afton. Del organized the yearly hoop shoot for 25 years. He enjoyed partaking of the outdoors and hunting in the area. He especially looked forward to an annual fishing trip with his dear friends.

We would like to acknowledge his wonderful and supportive neighbors and his dear friends that he spent time with in Afton. This meant a lot to DelWayne!

Surviving children: Laura (Leon) Jensen, Jeff (Connie) England, Step-Son, Jare (Sue) Elbrader, Step-Son, Barry (Diane) Elbrader, Step Daughter Tori Elbrader.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 21, 2022, in the Afton, Wyoming Cemetery. Memories may be shared with the family at www.whitepinefunerals.com
