Eldon Dean Palmer passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was born March 9, 1950, in Logan, Utah to Leland and Ruth Palmer. He was the 4th of 7 children. He was raised in Logan and attended Logan schools where he graduated high school in 1968.
He met and married the love of his life Annette Pickett in 1972 in the Logan LDS Temple. They made their home in Millville, Utah where they welcomed 4 children Michael, Douglas, Jackie and Julie.
Eldon had a passion for golf he won club championships, many tournaments, and enjoyed traveling with Annette to play on different courses. Later in life he fell in love with gardening, he had the most beautiful plentiful garden in all of Millville. You would often times find him outside just watching his garden grow. He enjoyed fishing with his best bud Lynn they spent many days on the banks of Hyrum Dam together. You would always find Eldon supporting his grandchildren in whatever they had going on, they were his greatest joy.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many callings in the church and love to go to the temple.
He is survived by his wife Annette, Son Michael (Tiffany), Son Douglass, Daughter Jackie Balls (Norman), and daughter Julie Gardner (Brandon). His 10 grandchildren, Maggie Hunsaker (Casey), Hattie, Charley, Joey, Aiden, Branson, Gracie, Bostyn, Luke and Rebecca. And 6 Great Grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law, 2 brothers, and 1 brother-in-law.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at White Pine Funeral Services, 753 S 100 E, Logan, Utah. Eldon's funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1:00 pm at White Pine Funeral Services, 753 S 100 E, Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the funeral home. The interment will be at the Millville City Cemetery.
