In loving memory, our dear mother Georgia Ruth Chadwick Bingham, 93, passed away peacefully in her home in Providence, Utah on November 20, 2024 and returned to her Heavenly Home.
Georgia was born in Clifton, Idaho on April 16, 1931 to loving parents Earl Chadwick and Amy May Sant Chadwick.
She grew up on a farm in Whitney, Idaho learning the value of hard work and instilled that in each of her children. She taught us how to quilt, sew, and the joy of gardening, as well as cooking and canning food. This has greatly blessed each of her children.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving in many callings throughout her life. She especially enjoyed being in the scouting program which she served in for many years. Also, she had a love for humanitarian service and made many quilts to be donated. She created many beautiful quilts and needlework and shared them with everyone. We all have many quilts on our beds which we will always cherish. She also loved serving in the Relief Society Presidency and associating with wonderful women who enriched her life.
Mother loved her children, but she especially liked seeing and playing with each new grandbaby. They brought her great joy and she knew every one of them and they knew her.
She has been reunited with her deceased husband, Stanley Pratt Bingham, who she was sealed to in the Logan LDS Temple, and her three deceased sons, Michael Stanley Bingham, Sidney Paul Bingham, and Jeddie Earl Bingham.
She is survived by her sister Margaret Klasse, brother Grant Chadwick (Linda), and sister-in-law Deanna Chadwick. Preceding her in death are her brothers, Bill Chadwick, Tom Chadwick, and Dale Chadwick, brother-in-law, Jim Klasse, and infant sister Jane Chadwick.
Beloved mother of her five surviving children, Sheryl Phillips (Fred), Janet Widmer (Kirk; deceased), Elaine Eppich (Scott), Lori Howard (Brett), Lynette LaMay (Darren), and 23 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren.
We will miss the visits with our mom, the stories she would share, and all that she would teach us. She was always there when we needed her; but, we know that we will be with her again and feel of her love.
The family would like to thank the countless friends, neighbors, and ward ministers who attended to her needs as she aged. She loved you all so much.
