Kenneth Carl Fowers “best dad ever” was born February 15th 1931 in Kanesville Utah. Ken was the oldest of 4 children born to James and Ruth Fowers who raised their family in Hooper and Plain City Utah. After Ken graduated from Weber High School he served a mission in The West Central States Mission for two years and during this time met Lillian Martha Hatch.
When he finished his mission he volunteered for the draft in 1953 and was sent to the Korean War, earning the rank of a Sergeant. He returned home from his military service in 1955. Ken and Lillian were married September 16th 1955 in the SLC temple. Ken and Lillian enjoy scenic drives, listening to big band music, camping, and family activities.
Ken is survived by his seven children Stephanie, Allise, Greg, Gary, Tami, Michelle, and Mark, 26 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Our dad was a prolific reader, the hardest working man and was always serving others.
Ken passed away in Napa California at the age of 93 on July 30th while visiting his family and the beautiful city where he and Lillian raised their children. Ken will be buried alongside his beloved wife in the North Logan Memorial Park. The family will hold a private service. There will be no public viewings or services.
