Kevin Blaine Shelley died peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 21 in River Heights, Utah, due to medical complications. He was 59 years old.
Kevin was born on July 24, 1962, in Logan, Utah, to Blaine and Kaye Shelley. He graduated from Clearfield High School before serving a full-time mission in Osaka, Japan. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Art and Illustration. He married his wife, Peggy Fowles, in the Salt Lake Temple in 1988.
Kevin loved the outdoors and looked forward to regular trips to Yellowstone with his wife and children, as well as backpacking trips with his brothers and his children in the Uintah Mountains. Kevin liked to garden, and he enjoyed cooking and trying out new recipes. He had amazing artistic talents and spent a lot of time working on various art projects. What he enjoyed most was being with his family, playing board games, making dad jokes, and listening to the adventures of his children.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Peggy, his children, Zia, Nora, and Quinn, and his six siblings, Sharolyn Wignall, Jeanette (Pat) Ford, Margel Shelley, Brian Shelley, Kaylynne Shelley, and Brent (Katie) Shelley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Blaine and Kaye Shelley, and his brother-in-law, Steve Wignall.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the River Heights Stake Center, 800 S. 600 E. in River Heights, Utah. A visitation will be held prior to the services from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. Interment will be at the Providence Cemetery.
