Kitty White

Kitty Carma White passed away peacefully of natural causes on January 31^st, 2023, at Logan Regional Hospital. Kitty was born on June 5, 1950, in Logan Utah to Carma Bergener Naylor and Orville Dean Naylor. Married to John White on July 18th, 1970, in Logan, Utah.

Kitty will be remembered for being a strong, compassionate, nonjudgmental, and altruistic mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, friend, and community member.

In 2015, we almost lost Kitty to health concerns, but she came back with a will to fight for another 7 years so she could see her grandchildren grow. She was a warrior- her perseverance, compassion and kindness could be seen in the interactions she had with others. Kitty was known for sending cards and poems to all she knew for every holiday and birthday, giving money to others when she had little herself, and always quick to thanking her care providers even when she was in excruciating pain.

Not only was her kindness seen with people it also shined through her when it came to animals. Kitty showed her altruism in the community and for her feline friends as she took in over 200 homeless cats a year for over 20 years for the Cache Humane Society and Four Paws Rescue. Not only did Kitty provide the cats with a place to live; she used her own money to pay for food, medical assistance, and other cat supplies. When Kitty was not dedicating her spare time to taking care of cats, she worked for a market research firm or ran a child daycare business. Kitty will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the community.

Kitty was preceded in death by mother, Carma Bergener Naylor, father, Orville Dean Naylor, stepmother, Donna Naylor and son, Jason White.

She is survived by son, Cory White, daughter, Shanna Severn; grandchildren Kayla, Chelsea, Tyler and Makenzie White, and River Severn; sisters Connie Auman, Sandy Naylor, Lynda Jacobsen, and Dixie Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the White Pine Chapel, 753 South 100 East in Logan.  A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.  Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery.  

Should friends desire, flower donations may be sent to White Pine Mortuary or charity donations made to Four Paws Rescue.
