Linda Louise Shores Pierson

Linda Louise Shores Pierson, 81, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, in Logan, Utah, after a short illness.

Born in 1943 in Redlands, California, to Luke and Bonnie Shores, Linda lived a rich and fulfilling life. She grew up in Southern California and then lived all over the western United States following her husband’s jobs. They finally settled in Logan, where she lived for the remainder of her years. She retired from Utah State University, where she dedicated many years to the Nora Eccles Museum of Fine Arts. An enthusiastic traveler, Linda explored Ireland, Scotland, and much of Europe, and celebrated her Irish and Scottish heritage. She had a deep love for genealogy and family history, embracing her roots with pride.

Linda's vibrant personality was reflected in her love for antique shopping, painting, and bargain hunting. After being baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, She served faithfully in numerous roles throughout the rest of her life. Above all, Linda was defined by her love for her family, often expressing her affection with the simple, heartfelt words, "I love you," even in her final days.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Howard (Mick) Pierson, Linda is survived by her brother Bob (Jeanette), sons Wade (Susan), Ryan (Tobi), and Malen (Wendy); 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a large, wonderful extended family who adored her.

A viewing will be held on January 24, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at Noon, at White Pine Funeral Home in Logan, Utah, 753 S 100 E Logan, Utah 84321.

Linda is now reunited with her husband, leaving a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories.
