Megan Gordon Clements

January 8, 1982 — March 13, 2023

Smithfield, UT

Megan Gordon Clements was born on Jan 8, 1982 in Logan Utah.  She is the 4th of 6 children. She grew up in Smithfield and Mendon. Megan graduated from Mountain Crest High School in 2000.

On Sept 16, 2005 her son Jade was born.  They were the best of buds and saw each other through a lot.

Megan met the love of her life, Tyler in July of 2013.  The first time they met face to face was Sept 16, and a few weeks later started dating.  Tyler lived in Rexburg and Megan in Logan so their dating was long distance for a while.   After dating for almost a year they got engaged on March 14, 2014. They married June 27, 2014. Together they raised their family, making their home in Smithfield.

Jordan was born on March 27, 2017.  He’s been trucking around with her his whole life. He’s so full of energy and took a lot of her energy chasing after him.

She loved her date nights with Tyler. They loved watching their hockey team (the Avalanche).

Megan was the most kind, inclusive, thoughtful, non judgemental sweetheart.  She was best described as a force for good. She spread love and light everywhere she went. She may have been blind in one eye but she was completely blind to the faults of others. She loved to visit with people and her visits never felt rushed or like she had anywhere else to be.  She made everyone feel like they were her best friend.

Her boys were her life and she loved to brag about all they did.  Whether it was something Tyler had accomplished at work or a fun date he took her on, or Jade acing a test or hockey accomplishments or Jordan’s funny antics.

On March 13 2023, her life ended much too soon after complications associated with pneumonia resulting in cardiac arrest. Her death has left a hole in our hearts and we hope that by following her example that hole will be filled.

We would like to thank the first responders, ER staff at Logan Regional Hospital, the Life Flight team and McKay Dee hospital staff for all they did for her.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Papa and Meme. She is survived by husband, Tyler Bart Clements; sons, Jade Alexander and Jordan Ty; parents, Tim and Gloria Gordon of Mendon, UT, Bart and Tami Clements of Rexburg, ID; siblings, Todd and Holly Gordon, Melissa and Lance Nielsen, Angella and Kyle McMurdie, Jodilyn Gordon, Nicole and Kelley David Hanks.
