He went on to be a dispatcher for the Cache County Sheriff’s department.
Bob & Gail loved the outdoors. They camped, hiked, canoed, and went fly fishing, passing their passion for nature to their children. He attended fishing conclaves in seven states & Canada where he was often showcased as an expert fly tyer. In 2007 the Stonefly Society and Cache Anglers developed the Bob Trowbridge Award as the major award for the Wasatch Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Expo as a reflection of the high esteem that Bob Trowbridge was held by his peers.
