Steven Lynn Sharples, age 58, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on January 2, 2023 in Murray, Utah. Steven was born on October 28, 1964 in Bountiful to Don Sharples and Genevieve Harrison.
He worked as an over the road truck driver for over 30 years for various truck companies. Steven enjoyed meeting and visiting with fellow truck drivers and friends at truck stops. He enjoyed taking the family wood cutting and camping. Steve loved spending time with his family and was a good character at making friends wherever he went.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Geraldine Cooper Sharples of Providence , Utah; four children, Shelby (William) Rouse, Dustin Sharples, Wyatt Sharples and Ty Sharples; grandchildren, Logan Rouse and Lucas Rouse; siblings, Lori Harpster (Jack) of Bountiful, Layne Sharples (Anneta) of Spring Creek, NV, Cindy Balls (Kevin) of Clarkston, Marty Harrison (Kris) of Thatcher, and Stacy Cook (Scott) of Clarkston; and many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don Sharples and Genevieve (Gerald) Harrison; siblings, LeAnn Cook (Bruce) of Sunset, and Darwin Lee Harrison of Colorado.
A public viewing will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at White Pine Funeral Services (753 S 100 E, Logan, UT 84321). A private family gathering will take place at Providence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to help cover medical bills and funeral expenses are appreciated. Venmo @Geraldine-Sharples
